A leader in AA services is someone who can:
- Personally put principles, plans, and policies into action.
- Can originate plans, policies, and ideas for the improvement of our fellowship and it’s services.
- Consults widely for feedback on any new ideas or important matters before making decisions and taking action.
- When implementing decisions and actions, stays in the framework of its defined authority and responsibility.
- Ability to listen to opposition and consider all matters with a vision for the future and compromise for progress in the right direction for improvement
Please make a note that:
This is from an article, Leadership in AA – Ever a vital need by Bill; September 1968 Grapevine first appeared April 1959 issue. I read this article and highlighted a few important points made that I wanted to pass on as we all are gifted leaders chosen to carry the message….!!!!
