Area 47 Archives chair report on 2016 NYS Informational Workshop
I was invited to speak on the archives panel on 7-29-2016 at 5:00pm. The Topic of the panel was “What lessons can Archives Teach us today?” The other panelists were Lila (area50 Archives Chair), Wyatt W. (area48 Archivist), and the archivist from Area 49. Each panelist spoke for ten minutes and then several questions were asked from the audience. The panel was well attended (approx 75 persons) I also attended the next panel at 7:30pm which was panel on Websites. The panelists were Tia, (Area48 Website chair), Robert (Area 50 NYSIW website chair) and Dave of the Area 47 Website committee. A wide range of topics and questions with discussed. I was unable to attend the workshop on Saturday 7-30-2016
