Website Report on NERAASA 2018
The two roundtables on Websites provided very useful specific information on other Areas’ experience, strength and hope with regard to issues of functionality, security, privacy and effort involved in various software and cloud solutions to website, email and database services. The most-repeated message was “Read the Terms of Agreement”, particularly about privacy of our users’ contact information. Area 49’s registrar has developed a user-friendly interface for GSRs to submit group change information to be entered in GSO’s FNV database, and is willing to share the system with us. NERAASA as a whole was bubbling with energy and enthusiasm for general service, highly recommended for a motivational shot in the arm.
